Natalia Mamaj is a cinematographer based in Germany. She studied in her hometown at the renowned film school University for Television and Film Munich (HFF München). During her time at the film school she photographed numerous acclaimed documentaries and fictional shorts. To name one, the documentary „Shapes“ for which she was responsible for the cinematography was shortlisted for the film school student section in Cannes.
Hooked by engaging stories her camera work is truly dedicated to enhance human nuances and driven by the protagonists. She’s always eager to find captivating pictures fit for the story and does not shy away from any technical challenge the project might present. It is of crucial importance to her to work closely with the director and the crew.
Aside from film she has a passion for all kind of languages, be it dead or alive – and for Capoeira.
